Located in the charming village of Tabua, in the municipality of Ribeira Brava, our retreat sits on a 12,000 m² plateau, with 5,800 m² of private land, surrounded by banana plantations and fresh, invigorating air.
At 500 meters above sea level, our location offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere where nature sets the pace of each day. Occasionally, you might witness the banana harvest, a tradition that takes place every three weeks, offering a unique glimpse into the island’s agricultural heritage.
We are situated along the Estrada Regional 222, a scenic route linking Ribeira Brava to Ponta do Sol, two of Madeira’s most picturesque coastal towns. To fully explore the island, we recommend renting a car, as public transportation is limited and the mountainous roads—though challenging—reveal breathtaking landscapes that make every journey unforgettable.

Un Lugar muy Agradable
Visité el lugar con mi alma gemela el año pasado y me gustó mucho. Así que este año volví con el grupo de 4 amigos. A todos nos gustó la tranquilidad de la zona y las cenas con vistas a la plantación de plátanos eran simplemente geniales.
Los propietarios son muy serviciales, educados y atentos. Nos recibieron con platos de fruta y una sonrisa. Recibimos mucha información sobre lugares de alrededor.
Las habitaciones tienen baño propio y cocina, lo que es muy útil. La zona común está muy bien equipada, con lavadora.
En general, si buscas una zona tranquila y pacífica, este es un lugar muy agradable para alojarte.

Municipal Tourist Tax
The Municipal Tourist Tax of Ribeira Brava came into force on September 4, 2024, in accordance with Regulation No. 1031/2024, published in the Official Gazette No. 171 of September 4, 2024.
The municipal tourist tax is charged on all stays that occur from October 5, 2024 (inclusive), even if reservations have been made before that date.
The settlement and collection of the price of stay from guests is the responsibility of the entities that operate, in accordance with the legal terms, tourist companies and local accommodation establishments.
The Municipal Tourist Tax rate is € 2.00 per guest/per night, in all tourist establishments and local accommodation establishments, for a maximum of 7 (seven) consecutive nights per person and per stay, regardless of the reservation method (in person, analogue, digital, among others).
The electronic platform for the Ribeira Brava Municipal Tourist Tax is now available online – access here and register.
